read data from a pci card RRS feed

  • hi all.i need an emergency help.i am in a project that i have to communicate with an strange(for me) hardware .this is a PCI 1711 card(from advantech company) that is a data acquisition  card that has some analog and digital  inputs and outputs.it connects to motherbord like a slot(like a modem or network card) so i have to read  its data
    from the mainbord directly  but i do not know how at all.which kind of library or code or program should i use?.please can anyone tell me any advice specially in
    code ?

  • This is the smart device form that deals with issues related to Windows Mobile/CE development. It seems that you are in the wrong place. I think your best chance would be making contact with the manufacturer of the PCI card.

  • Hi and sorry for delay.
    I was searching by myself in the cd manual of the pci card and i found its dll and controls to use by visual studio and c#,but still i did not test it yet but  i will try it today.
    As i told you , it connects to the pc like a slot and of course it gathers information(analog and digital)from so many devices like measurement devices and send it to pc .i have to communicae with this useful device.If i could i will tell you how,and if i don`t i will ask again.
