  • Question

  • Hi,

I am moving the data from oracle to sqlserver.

so here is how we set up the environment.

    for oracle.

      1. we have installed the oracle11g client with 32 bit. we placed the proper .ora files.

      2. I can able to ping the oracle systems successfully.

    for sqlserver bids

        1.Sqlserver data tools.

        2. I can able to ping the sqlserver system successfully.

The problem is I am creating a ssis package.

In the pacakge I am defining the datasource(OLEDB/ADO) for oracle server.

it is throwing the following exceptions/errors. below are screen shots for reference.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • I see you used ADO type of the connection but you need to use the Native OLEDB instead.
