Dragonboard 410c display issues with Lilliput RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a dragonboard hooked up to a Lilliput 10.1 monitor.

    The resolution of the Lilliput is 1024x600.  Apps I deploy to it are cropped and misaligned.

    When I run "setdisplayresolution" I get:

    [devfishdragon]: PS C:\windows\system32> setdisplayresolution

    Current Display Resolution:

    Width      : 1280

    Height     : 720

    Frq Hz     : 60

    Orientation: Default

    [devfishdragon]: PS C:\windows\system32

    I try and run "setdisplayresolution 1024 600" and I get "the graphics mode is not supported".

    Fixes I've found all indicate I should edit the config.txt and set the various hdmi boot options instead.

    But I can't hit the config.txt (that I know of) since the board is configured to NOT boot from sd card.

    How can I set the db 410 display settings output properly for my Lilliput 10.1?

  • When generating the Flash.FFU image there is a place in the OEMInput file to specify all the supported resolutions.

      <Resolutions>
        <Resolution>720x1280</Resolution>
      </Resolutions>

    You may need a new FFU generated with 1024x600 to allow you to change to this resolution. Also from reading the windows documentation I'm not sure that this resolution is supported by windows I see the following resolutions listed

    1440x2560, 1920x1080, 1280x720, 1280x768, 1280x800, 960x540, 854x480, 800x480
