ASP.NET 5 MVC 6 Deployment on Windows Server 2008 R2 RRS feed

I have followed the instructions at https://docs.asp.net/en/latest/publishing/iis.html but my app fails when you navigate away from home. If I run the web.cmd and browse locally it works fine. I'd like to publish a debug build and attach visual studio to it remotely, is this possible?

    Thanks!

This question was related to ASP.NET 5 and that link does not apply.

The difference being that previous to ASP.NET 5 you would connect to w3wp.exe but with ASP.NET 5 you now connect to the applicable dnx.exe process.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Yes,you can deploy an ASP.NET Web application to a Windows Server 2008 R2 computer with IIS,and set it up for remote debugging.

Please refer to Remote Debugging ASP.NET
