InfoPath 2010- How to create a field to paste comma delimmeted data to be put into 2 separate xml fields RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I need to create an order form where there is a text box the customer can paste text with ItemId, Qty(several rows) and then the form submits this info as separate fields to the XML document and creates each separate sales line.  I am very new to Info Path and would appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of the correct way to set this up.  I know there are many functions and controls built in so I wanted to make sure I do this correctly instead of creating a frankenstein form when it would be easier to use the built in functionality.

    Thanks!

    Trisha
