    Hi experts,

I meet an error when I deploy application via VS2010.

    Error message is:

Error	1	Web deployment task failed.(Could not connect to the destination computer ("9.125.77.118").
On the destination computer, make sure that Web Deploy is installed and that the required process ("Web Deployment Agent Service") is started.)
The requested resource does not exist, or the requested URL is incorrect.

However, I've installed Web Deploy and get service started.

    Please help!!!!

    Thanks.

Have you just installed the Web Deploy? If so may be you need to restart the service.

If restarting doesnt work then may be the firewall on your destination computer is blocking the port from the service.

    hi there,

If you mentioned that you have installed WebDeploy and have the service restarted and yet, you cannot get it to work, the problem can be either:

    1. The required webdeploy port is not opened for communication
    2. You have not configured WebDeploy on your site properly yet.

Please refer to http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/516/configure-the-web-deployment-handler/ for more details.

If you are looking for a place to host your ASP.NET website, you can consider asphostcentral.com. This host has supported both FTP and WebDeploy approach.

Please mark this response as an "answer" if it helps you. Thanks heaps and good luck!

    :-)

    Hi experts:

One question is that have you tried the steps to configure and publish local web site to remote server successfully?(Using Visual Studio 2010 publish functionality)

I have tried to use the solution, but currently, one error occured as below:

Could not complete the request to remote agent URL 'http://9.125.77.92:8172/MSDEPLOYAGENTSERVICE'.

The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.

Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

It is appreciated that you could make some screenshots, and show your configuration.
