Is there any way to get a listing of the entire Ligthswitch program? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I'm old school (very old school) and I'm used to working from program listings.  I find looking at a screen for hours at a time to be quite taxing on the eyes.  I find it much less stressful to read listings and perhaps even make a note or two.

To that end... is there any way to get a program listing out of Visual Studio?  The entire program, not just a few files printed out.

  • Hi, Well, program listings make sense for more procedural oriented software, where there is kind of clear begin and end. LightSwitch and other frameworks are more event-driven and object oriented, so I'm not sure if program listings have an added value. On the other hand, Visual studio has the ability to create class diagrams which make much more sense in the object oriented world. Anyhow, you can always print any code in visual studio.

  • Thanks Paul.

I've been printing them one at a time... I was hoping for a more efficient method.
