Automating the maintenance of a macro RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I have a complex Word macro that I would like to create a self serve component to maintain some of the more basic elements. So basically, I want to create one macro to maintain another. An example of the type of thing I want to maintain is a list. Maintaining a list can be a simple enough thing (I know that you can give a user priviledges to add to a list), but as a result of the addition, there are many things that have to take place in the background in the code itself.

So, if someone could help me get started I would appreciate it. Here's what I need...

    1. How do I write the code to go to a particular procedure? I assume the reference to the procedure is "Project.ModuleName.ProcedureName" but how to I go there?

    2. Once I'm there, do I use the standard code to type text etc?

    Thanks,

    Jill
