framework 2.0,3.0,3.5 don't exist in the visual studio 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi, all.

The environment is win7. Before the problem occurs, I used a tool to clear  the C disk. After that, in vs 2010 when creating a new project, I can not see the framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 in the framework dropdownlist. But in the OS, those frameworks are there, I can change a website to use the framework 2.0 in IIS. I thought that is because the disk clearing tool delete some files that are needed by VS. So I reinstalled VS, but the problem is still there, VS still cannot connect with the frameworks. As those frameworks are part of the built-in components in WIN7, so I have no way to remove them and reinstall them when installing VS.

I want to know how VS determine which frameworks to be showed in the framework dropdownlist?

Please give some advices on how to fix the problem. thank you.
