Signing WinUSB driver with using my certificate RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everybody,

When delivering our software to our customer I need to install on their computer WinUSB driver so my app can use WinUSB API.

If I sign the driver with the signature from our certificate isn’t there a legal problem as I am signing Microsoft product with our signature.

    Regards,

    Janusz

  • No you are signing a software package, since WinUSB is part of the WDK redistributables this is totally legal.
