How do I assign a pre-owned custom domain to my App Service

Howdy!

Recently I quit the contract with my hosting provider in order to move to .Net Core in Azure. I do still own the domain name, which is still valid for quite some time. How can I add/transfer this pre-owned custom domain to my Azure Webapp, so I can keep the domain name I always had?

Yes, you can map your existing custom DNS name to Azure App Service. Please follow this tutorial , it shows you how to map an existing custom DNS name to Azure App Service.
