Hi,
Is it possible to set up a search scope that only finds items that are less than a year old?
Anyone?

I think this will be achievable with FAST Search for SharePoint 2010 only. If you would like to use FAST, you have to install FAST on every SharePoint server in your SharePoint farm. FAST itself does not have any client licences, users need only SharePoint Enterprise CAL and you need to purchase FAST server licence.

Which version of search are you using?
If it's FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint, you could create a FAST scope that looks something like this:
Created="this year"

We're using Sharepoint Server 2010 Enterprise, however no FAST Search. :-(
Can I do what I want without FAST?
Please say yes ;-)
