Missing Windows.Security DLL RRS feed

  • Question

  • I upgraded my development server from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012. Visual Studio 2012 was already installed prior to upgrading the OS. I need to use the API's in the Windows.Security.Cryptography namespace but cannot find the DLL. What is the name of the DLL and in what product does it reside?

Thanks for the swift reply. I think I found what I need in System.Security.Cryptography. I was a little confused as several posts on other forums said that Windows.Security is the namespace that should be used on Win8/2012.
