• Question

  • When I use some Winhttp APIs, such as WinHttpSendRequest and WinHttpReceiveResponse on a Win 7 system, I will get error 12152 ERROR_HTTP_INVALID_SERVER_RESPONSE, if the website contains non-RFC compliant characters.

in .net i can use useUnsafeHeaderParsing flag to disable this behavoiur.

is there a way to do the same thing with winhttp ?

if not , is there an alternative windows api i can use that will not generate that error? (must support https and windows xp).

  • I'm afraid that this can't be ignored for WinHttp, See this discussion: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/microsoft.public.winhttp/C-_7D8BValM

You need to use other way to around this issue...
