Defect: Computing PC Rating When Natively Booting Into VHD

    General discussion

  • I noticed that the tool that measures PC rating has a minor defect: it does NOT check for your boot drive type before starting to measuring your PC rating. That leads your to waiting in vain for computed rating, which eventually leads the system to say that you are using VHD drive and computing cannot be processed further.

I don't think there's a need to compute VGA, Processor, etc. rating when it will fail a few minutes later when the tool discovers that the system is using VHD.

    Does anybody else experiencing this?

    Thank you.

  • this is also the case in Windows 7. MS changed this between Win7 Beta and RC because they think the HDD score is not reliable when using the VHD.
