Dismissed flyout

    Question

  • Just checking on intentions here: In the discussion of command surfaces here:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh465304.aspx, the example of a flyout asks for a delete confirmation. Given that flyouts are intended to be light dismiss, should we interpret dismissal as cancellation? And if so, does that imply that they should not have anything equivalent to a cancel button?

  • Yes, if the user dismisses the flyout treat it as cancel.
