No Store menu on Visual Studio Express 2012 RRS feed

Answers

  • I'm afraid that didn't work, there is no option for Store in the customise menu. I just tried reinstalling the SDK but this also didn't work - any other ideas?

Solved the issues by reinstalling again using the Dreamspark download.

  • Are you using Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows 8 on a Windows 8 machine? Are you able to create Windows Store apps?

By default the Store menu will be on the top menu bar. If not, you can look for it in the Tools.Customize... menu and add it back.

  • I am using Visual Studio Express 2012 on Windows 8. I will check if I can add it from the Tools.Customize menu when I am next at my machine and will respond to let you know.
