While applying sql server 2012 SP4 i am facing issue like SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error: Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size of the argument list. Error code 0x84B10001. RRS feed

    Please check the Windows Event log to get more information. Generally, error message like this is caused by the installation media itself, like some registry key missing, file missing.

    Have you cleaned the temp folder after last installation of SQL Server? Some msi files will be reused during the later installation.
