  • hello everybody, I'm new to this world, I need to know if it's possible to create a point cloud of the ground (no skeleton tracking) usind the microsoft sdk from the depth data .. any code examples?? thanks for helping ;)

  • point cloud right now is not directly using the kinect sdk v1 unless I missed some information.

  • I have to thankyou duncan for showing me also that channel 9 link I've been looking for 3d scanning and/or reconstruction using kinect sdk since the beta came out.

  • thanks duncan I was looking for something like that, but why triangles?? never seen point clouds like this....  I just checked until now point cloud with openkinect or openni etc but too difficult to understand for me right now. I think sdk microsoft is easier to start. any other suggestions for a newbie ???

  • I think thats one of few projects that do 3d reconstruction with kinect v1 sdk that you can program with original source code and the author doesnt have closed source.
