Accessing 802.11 Status Code (bytes 26 & 27) from the (Re)Association Response packet RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • A specific AP for my project accepts one connection at the time.  When a second client attempts to connect to the AP the connection is refused and the AP returns an association request response with the access code [17] = "Association denied because AP is unable to handle additional associated STA". <o:p></o:p>

I am working on a C# application that needs to inform the user the failure reason.  The problem is that I do not know the right API to access the 802.11 Status Code (bytes 26 & 27) from the (Re)Association Response packet.<o:p></o:p>

I couldn’t find the right info on Windows dev center; the closest thing I found is:

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff547652%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    <o:p></o:p>

What I need is an API to access this:<o:p></o:p>

    Thank you
