Windows 8 as main OS and Upgrading to Final Release

Question
-
Hello folks..
I was wondering wether it is possible to use the Windows 8 Developer Preview as my main OS, and then
when the final product gets released to upgrade to it - So that I won't have to wait for the Final Product. I have a legit Windows 7 key at the moment.
Thanks in advance,

This preview is really for developers to get a just start on developing for the platform. Many things don't work right and are missing, and there will be no upgrade available to go from this version to the final (probably not even from this version to the next preview/beta).

Only you are going to be able to make this decision.
and then
when the final product gets released to upgrade to itChances are good that you won't be able to upgrade from a build this early
to RTM.

is version is a preview and not designed to be a Main-OS. Stay at Windows 7 Sp1 until Windows 8 is RTM.

You could use it as your main OS, but realize that you should save your files on a different partition. You will be required to do a clean install. There will be no upgrade option when the beta, RC or RTM is released (nor would you want to do an upgrade, it's not good with beta versions). It also probably expires after a certain date, as well. I plan on spending as much time using Win8 as possible as my main OS. I will have to do a clean install when new versions are released, though.
