Can't seem to reposition icons on my ribbon [design] .cs tab RRS feed

  • Question

  • I can't seem to reposition icons on my ribbon [design]. When I try to move them by clicking and dragging them they will not move. I just get a circle with a line through it when I attempt to move them. The locked setting on the icons properties are all set to false. Been searching for a while on this one but have found no soulotion. Using Microsoft Visual C# 2010 pro. Thanks for any help.

  • Hi KeyMoore,

What do you mean by icons? Does it mean ribbon buttons with an image?
If I understood correctly, you want to change the position of the ribbon buttons, please correct me if I have any misunderstanding.
To reproduce your issue, I created a Outlook add-in project and added a ribbon.
The ribbon controls could be moved without issues (see the figure below).

    Best Regards

    Fei
