BPMN 2.0 Support RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody,

the new BPMN 2.0 standards defines execution semantics, which makes it possible to "execute" a BPMN 2.0 diagram (in almost the same manner as BPEL). There are already a lot of open source "BPMN 2.0 engines" in the market and therefore I would like to know whether Microsofts Workflow Foundation also supports BPMN 2.0.

    Regards,

    Hendrik

  • Hi Hendrik,

WF 4 does not support BPMN 2.0 standards and will not in the short timeframe. I already asked MS about that and I know they're taking this into consideration however not currently on the short-term roadmap.

    HTH,

    Cheers

  • Hi Adriano, thanks a lot for your answer - although it is a little bit disappointing.
