Here is the problem, Intel Core2 series chipset's south bridge "iCH" has multiple USB 2.0 controller and usually in the configuration of 2x USB ports per controller.

now Intel iCore chipset 1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen has much less USB controller; 2x ECHI USB 2.0 Controller to serve 12-14 USB 2.0 Ports, or 2x ECHI USB2.0 + 1x xCHI USB 3.0 controllers.

I was developing my application using 4x kinects on C2Q machine without needs of additional external USB controller, but now I been "upgraded" to iCore system, according to Intel the iCore PCH ECHI usb controller does serve up enough bandwidth across 12-14 USB 2.0 Ports. but when I connect my 3rd Kinect (2x kinects on the same ECHI Controller), it gave me error code 10.

get another usb controller may not be an option, as the runtime machine is a iCore ComExpress/PC104 board, so lack of ability to install addon cards.

so, how do I solve this?

I am very sure that Intel's PCH design can handles that many USB2.0 devices @ same time ...
