  • Hi!
You can't do it for all. Get the version installed on the user machine, and, depending on this, use the appropriate code.

  • Hi M Imran Shafiq

I believe that it’s a Visual Studio Tools for Office’s problem, and I’m going to move it to VSTO Forum. See if specialists there can help.

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

When developing an application target multiple Office versions, it is recommend to write against the lowest version Office's PIA. As your demand, you need reference the Office XP PIAs. You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c41bd61e-3060-4f71-a6b4-01feba508e52&displaylang=en

After referencing the Office XP PIAs, you can use new operator to create a new Outlook application or Marshal.GetActiveObject("Outlook.Application") to get the active running Outlook application.

To create an appointment, please refer the following msdn link:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms268752.aspx

To delete an appointment, you just need to get that appointment's object, and call its Delete() method.

    Thanks,

    Ji
