Office 365 calendar api push to other calendar RRS feed

  • Hi Guys

    We're working with a client who requires an external web app which can push calendar items to any member of their office 365 user base within their organisation.

    When testing with an individual users account, pushing an item to their own calendar, it works great. However they have a need to be able to push calendar entries to one of any of the accounts on their server

    We've set up a single full-admin account on their office 365 with full permissions, however we get the following error which doesnt occur when pushing to the authenticating users account (occurs only when pushing to any 'other' account on 365) 

    [code] => ErrorItemNotFound
                [message] => The specified object was not found in the store.

    permissions look to be set correctly so the account should have access, could anyone provide some assistance on what we may be doing incorrectly or what additional configuration is required?

  • The application will need Impersonation permissions (if using EWS). If you are using the new REST-based Calendar API, I don't think it supports delegation (from the documentation: "The Calendar API requests are always performed on behalf of the current user.")
