The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden while downloading file through webclient.

Hi,

I am downloading a file through a link using webclient it gives an exception 

"The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."

and when i m hitting this URL in browser it starts download.

What can be the issue please help.

Set a user-agent header, like this:

WebClient webClient = new WebClient();
webClient.Headers.Add("user-agent", "ASP.NET WebClient");

string content = webClient.DownloadString("url here");
