Check if Windows Azure SDK is installed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just installed Visual Studio 2013 (with Update 1) says that Windows Azure SDK 2.2 update is available. I suppose that it is some "special" update in order to promote Windows Azure development tools (since I don't remember installing it), but just in case: how can I check if Windows Azure SDK is installed on my computer? It doesn't show up neither in installed application list in Programs and Features applet in Control Panel nor in installed extensions in Visual Studio.

I just want to get rid of this update notification in Visual Studio Extension Manager.

  • Hi,

If the SDK is installed you should find it under "Programs and Features". Additionally you can check your file system for the folder "..\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Azure\.NET SDK\v2.2" (Assuming it was installed in the default location)
