  • .NET 3.5 is shipped with Windows 8 but not enabled by default.

Follow the "Enabling the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel" section in this MSDN documentation to enable the .NET 3.5.

The version that is shipped in Windows 8 is already .NET 3.5 SP1 if I'm not mistaken. Try uninstall NET 3.5 from your computer then install it again using the method I mentioned in above reply.

  • Hi Itaib,

Do you mean you've turn on .NET 3.5 feature and still get the error?

Please try this tool to verify .NET 3.5 on your OS:

    Then paste your result here.

  • Hi Itaib,

    How is your issue now?

As Ferry mentioned, .NET 3.5 SP1 is already a component of your Win 8. What's the result when you use that tool? Success or failure? Could you share your result here for further troubleshooting?
