Blocked content in web-outlook

Question
-
Hi.
We use Exchange Online and web-outlook.
Emails come with blocked images in html, a message hangs on top - "Part of the content in this message was blocked because the user who sent it is not on your list of safe senders."
Can you please tell me if it is possible, centrally, for example in security.microsoft.com or admin.exchange.microsoft.com, to allow the display of images in a letter from a specific sender?

To create a safe sender in EOP, have a look at this page :
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/create-safe-sender-lists-in-office-365?view=o365-worldwide
It applies to Exchange Online, MS Defender for Office 365, Microsoft 365 Defender.

Outlook includes a built-in feature that prevents potentially harmful content like bugs from infecting your system. Also, if you don't have much bandwidth, it can help keep your usage low so you don't accidentally waste any of it. OP, I assume when you say "we" you're talking about a business? People who you know and trust with your systems and wellbeing? In that case, if you right-click the picture in the email, you should see an option that lets you add the sender to your "safe senders" list. After you do that, you shouldn't have any problems.

I agree with Lilly Johnson's take and I don't blame Microsoft for wanting to keep people safe. If you're using Outlook on a computer, the easiest way to unblock senders is by going into your "Settings" and clicking on "View all Outlook settings". You should be able to see "Mail". Click on that and go into "Junk Email". Select the domain or email address you trust and press the trash icon. If you do that, every email you receive from the unblocked address should show up in your inbox without any issues.

hi
If your content block in outlook so use this method
- Method 1: Use a file share to access the attachment. ...
- Method 2: Use a file compression utility to change the file name extension. ...
- Method 3: Rename the file to have a different file name extension. ...
- Method 4: Ask the Exchange server administrator to change the security settings.

Hi all. I do not argue that this is a very useful and necessary feature. Pictures should be blocked.
But my case is different.
I'll try to explain.
I run controlled phishing campaigns around the company to determine the level of resistance of employees to this type of attack.
And I need images to be loaded from my domain. Not from everyone, but only from mine.
Pictures are not loaded specifically in web-outlook, so it is logical that the settings need to be done somewhere in the cloud office365. Most likely somewhere there is a white list where I need to add or the domain from which I send out my "phishing" or the IP address of the mail server. Well, or make some kind of allowing rule for the same parameters.
But so far I can not find where you can make the settings I described. I repeat, so that all pictures are correctly loaded only from a specific domain. -

Hey Autograph. The tips I've seen everyone share are really good and I think you should try following Betty's post. If I'm not mistaken, going into your Outlook account's "blocked senders" list is the advice that Microsoft gives. If you go through your device's settings, you can take someone off the list by deleting their email address from your junk email. If you follow that, any pictures in an email from an unblocked or trusted sender should be viewable. I imagine you shouldn't experience further problems if you follow the responses on here. All the best.

Go to https://security.microsoft.com/
- in Email & Collaboration select "Policies and rules"
- Select Threat policies
- select "Anti-spam"
- select your active policy
- select "Edit allowed and blocked senders and domains"
- Add the sender email in the allowed senders list

Way #1: Accessing the Webmail
Well, you may have your luck here to see the blocked in Outlook content isn’t blocked on webmail. But the chances of the content still blocked in Webmail are still pretty high. I had successfully retrieved some types of blocked document a few times. In other cases, I had to forward them into my Gmail account and from there I was able to retrieve them. But simply, if you don’t see the blocked content unblocked in webmail, please check the next tip below.
Way #2: Change the Registry
There is a registry string that you can add into the registry to unblock the blocked file type in Outlook. The same key works for Outlook 2003 and up, since the blocking idea was first introduced in Outlook 2003. Just place them in the respective location.
