  • I want to create an RNDIS driver for my hardware.

    I need help defining the template.inf

    I have any Android 4.2.2 device and when I connect it on windows 10 is registers as Samsung device.

    How do I go about this process?

  • Assuming your driver is working, then in the template.inf file, replace instances of USB\VID_xxxx&PID_yyyy with the VID and PID for your device, and rename the INF file to be something else. Then you'll need to go into Device Manager, right-click on your device and select Update Driver Software. On the dialog box, click on Browse my computer for driver software, and navigate to where your INF file resides.
