How to disable the tooltip programmatically in windows store app

  • Hi Everyone,

                I am displaying validation error message in tooltip. When i open the popup newly that tooltip should not display.

    How remove/disable the tooltip programmatically 

    Please help me...

    ToolTipService.SetIsEnabled(txtBox, false);

    or
    ToolTipService.SetToolTip(txtbox, string.Empty);  

    or

    ToolTipService.SetToolTip(txtbox, null);

  • Hi Bret,

             I m asking for that tooltip of textbox. I m setting tooltip by programmatic(i.e that is tooltip not a

    normal tooltip, it is property of textbox tooltip). Like this

    ToolTipService.SetToolTip(txtbox, "Enter the valid email ID \n eg. peter@live.com ");  

    I want to remove this type of tooltip.

    Please help me
