Notification about update of Nuget packages in .NET Standard project RRS feed

Wanted to ask for a long time... I have a Xamarin.Forms project targeted at iOS and Android. At some point I switched the shared projects to .NET Standard 2.0 and since then I wonder how I'm supposed to "know" that some library was updated.

This morning, an update for Xamarin.Forms is available. I see it really clearly in the Android or iOS project:

but how am I supposed to discover that in the other .NET Standard 2.0 projects ???

Since the libraries I have in those projects are also used in the main project, I know from the native notification but still, would love to get how the corresponding behaviour is supposed to happen with .NET Standard projects.

Currently notifications for updated packages is not supported in .NET Standard and .NET Core projects.

A possible workaround is to install the NuGet extensions addin and then use the Manage Packages dialog which can be used to show updates available for the solution or for a single project.
