  • Can anyone help me with this? i'm using the x64 version service pack4, it seems that still it won't let me install..
    huhuhuhu
    when i also use the service pack 3, it goes the same problem

    No, the developer edition is the full blown edition of SQL Server. Express only has a limited set of features.

  • Are you trying to install SQL Server?

    You are running an exe file that installs a service pack. You need to install SQL Server first before you can install a service pack.

    1. You are sure it is MS SQL Server 2005, because your topic title says MySQL, which is a different database vendor
    2. Why SQL Server 2005 and not 2008?
    3. Why do you need Enterprise edition?
    4. Have you already purchased something?

  • 1.) oh my mistake, as i said again sir i'm a noob. I'm so sorry sir for the wrong subject.

    2.) if there is 2008 the better sir, but could you help me?

    But if you could help me sir that is applicable to my windows 7 ultimate. And yea your right, the correct program that i'm looking for is MS SQL Server 2005. but if you could provide me 2008 sir i will really appreciate much.

  • I cannot provide you with a version, you need to purchase it or download it.
    You can use the SQL Server 2008 Developer edition, which has all the features of the Enterprise edition and it is free as long as you use it for development. You cannot use it a production environment.

    There is also a free Express edition, which has a limited set of features. Maybe that will cover your needs. You can find it here:
