Issue to add DLL file RRS feed

  • Hi,
    I want to add one new DLL file in Reference, of the project, within Visual studio 2015, but I got issue below.

  • Right click on reference and select add reference.  browse to the dll you want to use in your app

  • What kind of dll were you trying to reference?  I suspect it is not a compatible with .net

    Same dll files that are fine (to work) in other VS 2015 project.

  • In the project which you can't add the DLL, is the .NET Framework the same version as in other projects which can use the DLL ?

  • Download the required .dll file from Fix4dll.com.
    Copy that . dll file into the application or game folder, or you can copy it into the Windows system folder.
    If you are rewriting the existing . dll file we recommend you to back up the original file.
    In case if you copied .a file.
    Reboot your computer.
