Internal Server Error 500 on setup of Azure VM using Sharepoint template RRS feed

  • Question

  • I checked the related threads...none are applicable

    I created a VM with the Azure portal and selected the SharePoint 2013 image as a template...

    All goes well...then I login to the machine...

    It brings up a browser with "Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Evaluation Resources"...I click "download the evaluation"..

    a screen comes up saying download SharePoint 2013...I click "get Started now"...it wants me to login into MSDN..

    I do this, then it flashes a screen with "Profile Center"...then Internal Server Error 500...

    Can anyone help me?

    TIA

    Regards..

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

    The following steps you could have a try:

    • Disable IE ESC;
    • Allow IE download file;

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd346862.aspx

    Then try it again.

    If it does not work, you could copy the download link to your local machine, open it, if the following img file occured, using this link to download on your virtual machine.

    It works for me.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards.
