Can I change the width of the widget? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello
I got the inquiry from a Japanese MVP.

    Her site:

    http://snow-white.cocolog-nifty.com/first/

I put the widget on my blog site, but the site right navi space is 160 pixel. But it looks that the widget default size is 200 pixel. With IE8, the right parts, “translate this page” and “Share” are not displayed.

Is there any way to shrink the widget size?

Thank you for your advice in advance.

  • Michiyo, we have heard this question a few times and are working on a solution. Currently there isn't a way to reduce the size of the widget, the minimum 200 pixel width was picked to accomodate the length of the localized strings on the widget (the russian widget for example has strings that need more than 160 pixels width).
Feel free to have her contact mtcont@microsoft.com and we can work with her to help work around this.
