Wince6.0 reinstallation problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

I have reinstalled Wince6.0 for my system.

After re-installation of wince6.0 I am trying to build a working BSP for Imx51.

But I am getting the following error,

error C2220: warning treated as error - no 'object' file generated.

It means it treating a warning as error.

In web I got information that we can compile at lower level that is without /WX.

    But how to do this?

How to over come this problem?

    Thanks in advance

  • You have the environment variable WARNISERROR set in your BSP or OSDesign someplace.   Unset it and the problem will go away.

You could also try fixing the warnings :-)

  • Dear Bruce sir,

I checked in my BSP environment variable WARNISERROR is not set.

Now I am fixing the warnings itself.

    In  following path

    C:\WINCE600\PLATFORM\COMMON\sources.cmn

    I seen WARNISERROR = 1

So I changed the value from 1 to 0.After this also no change.

Did you mean in OSDesign means here itself? If yes means how to unset it?

    With Thanks
