VS2015 community for Windows 10 universal store app development RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello experts,

After install VS 2015 community version, do I need to install any additional components for Windows 10 universal store app development? And how could I check if my VS 2015 community version is ready for Windows 10 universal store app development? This is what I see and it seems only win 8.1 related options are available?

    thanks in advance,

    Lin

  • Hello Lin MA,

You can do it from your control panel->Uninstall a program->Right click Visual Studio 2015 Community->Change->Modify then you will see the above options. If you cannot find it I will paste the screenshot. But please follow the above steps first.

    Best regards,

    Barry

  • Thanks Barry, where do you find this "Select features" dialog? From somewhere inside VS 2015 community? Sorry for this dumb question, not working on Windows development for some time. :)
