Error "ThrottlingBacklogTimeout" from IoT Hub Connection RRS feed

  • Hi guys, 

    Just a quick one:

    We currently keep having an exception thrown with the message of

    ErrorCode:ThrottlingBacklogTimeout;

    The request has been throttled. Wait 10 seconds and try again. Operation type: C2DReceive

    It seems like a problem with the IoT Hub. Is the exception caused by sending too many/ too big messages between IoT Hub?

    Unfortunately, we did not found anything about it after few months' searching on internet. 

    But we found something interesting, if we use two different DeviceClient object to handle sending and receiving differently, the error will rarely occur. Or we do sending and receiving in order, and that would also reduce the chance of bringing up the problems.

    Did you have the same issue? Any idea about it?
