Remove Controllers and Actions in the Application URL RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    We have developed a MVC application which works fine, but i don't want the controller and action names to be displayed in the URL. Is there any way i can hide these two names being displayed in the URL.

    I want the application to be always displayed as "http://bb.XXX.com/" instead of showing the different Controller and Action as "http://bb.XXX.com/UserLogin/LandingPageForUser" for each page when i navigate.

    Thanks in Advance !

    Regards, Anbu

  • Anbu,

    Does this have anything to do with Microsoft Project, a project management application? If not, and I suspect it doesn't, then you have posted to the wrong forum. I suggest you re-post to the following forum:

    routes.MapRoute(
            "item_details",
            "item/{id}",
            new { controller = "item", action = "Get" }
            );
