In outlook how do I add a user property to an occurrence of a recurring appointment? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Pretty much as the title says. I can add a UserProperties to non-recurring Appointments, but I need to add them to individual occurences in the series; I not sure if this can be done.

  • Unless you create exceptions any individual occurrence doesn't exist as a separate item. If you want different values in a user property for each instance you would need to create exceptions out of every instance. In that case you could get the instances as members of the Exceptions collection of the recurrence pattern.
