Email Alerts not Working RRS feed

  • Hi!

    All our SharePoint sites (WSS 3.0) suddenly stopped sending Email Alerts. Initially, the only affected alerts were those that were supposed to be sent whenever a new item is created. After a couple of weeks, all alerts are not functioning.

    Is there anything we can do which would not require rebuilding everything or creating alerts using SharePoint designer workflows?
