Stuggling with the lack of ability to open .eps files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anyone know if or when there will be an update that allows you to open .eps files?  This is really troublesome to me...I don't know about anyone else.  I have so many vector files saved that I cannot open now, among other files that  I can no longer access.

  • In full agreement.  This is a VERY BIG missing item in Expression Design.  I would like to see more broad support for .EPS and I also have difficulty openign many PhotoShop files (.psd).

If MSFT wants to win in this area then I ighly recommed being able to be compatable with the industry standards.

Any other suggestions would be GREAT.

  • Yep, I have to agree with everyone on this. It's incredibly frustrating to have to figure out all the workarounds out there, knowing that this could have been done for us. I really like working with Expression Design, because of its simplicity, but I'm required to produce EPS files too! Expression Design doesn't do that. What is the Expression Design development team's motivation for this omission?
