  • Hi Akhil,

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

Would you tell me your Office version? It’s based on my experience that we can’t find out the event your mentioned. I will consult senior engineers of it. It will take your some hours for waiting.

Thanks for your understanding and supporting.

    Have a good day,

    Tom

  •  Hi Akhil,

Custom Task pane (CTP) fires only two events. These are the “DockPositionChanged” and the “VisibleChanged”.

The CTP includes in its Properties the UserControl property. This is the System.Windows.Forms class you refer to in your initial post. To meet your objective you can assign the CTP’s UserControl property to an Object and catch the events of that object.

You can learn more about the CustomTaskPane Interface for Microsoft.Office.Tools at this site:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.tools.customtaskpane.aspx

And about the CTP as implemented in your code at the site:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.tools.customtaskpane(VS.80).aspx

Incidentally, you can attach UserControl to the surface of the Custom Task Pane as discussed in the following article.

Please let us know if this reply provides you the answer to your issue. Thanks.
