Detect changes in Calendar permissions RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

Is there any way that I can detect changes in the permissions of a user's calendar folder? For example, user A add user B as a reviewer for his calendar folder. and I want to detect that using EWS. I know there is a method called SyncFolderItems that can be used to detect if appointments were created/updated in a given timestamp, but I can't see changes in permissions in its return.

I thought about using Folder.Bind to get the Calendar folder of a user, and load property 0x3008 to get the last modified date of the folder. But the problem is it can be changed due to other reasons than changes in permissions, is there maybe a field that stores the last modified date for permissions on the folder?

    Thanks

  • No the Folder Last Modified is the only thing that would get updated, they should really write the Datetime in the DACL which would make the whole thing a lot better.

    Cheers
