Public Home page RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I set up a public home page for our HealthVault app?

    Right now I have a Default.aspx page that automatically redirects to the HealthVault log in page.

    I need this page to come up without users having to log in.

    <add key="WCPage_ActionHome" value="Default.aspx"/>

    is configured in Web.config.

    I figure I can set up an html page, but I see the Mayo Clinic HV app has Default.aspx as their public home page.

    Please direct me to any resources.

    Thanks,
    Gary

  • Hello Gary,

    If the page is inherited from HealthServicePage, the page will be redirected automatically to the Login page. If you do not want the page to be redirected, you can inherit it from System.Web.UI.Page.

    It looks similar like this: public partial class Default : System.Web.UI.Page.
    You can do this with your home page as a html page or with an aspx page.
    Hope this helps...
