Security - Mixed security with multiple HTML Clients RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I want to develop a lightswitch HTML application that can have both an unauthenticated and an authenticated side to it. I was initally under the impression that if I implemented multiple HTML clients, from here , that one could be authenticated and the other not. Is this possible? Will modifications in the web.config as hinted at in this post work?

If not.. then how does one set up multiple lightswitch projects to use the same data model? Do you have to develop the data model outside of lightswitch and consume it in both? Or do you develop it in Lightswitch, deploy to production (in my case Azure) and then consume it in the second project? Should the development be with the more featured secured project or the less featured unauthenticated (public) project?

Or.. for the few public unauthenticated screens, do I go the route of Full Control with the ServerApplicationContext?

Thanks in advance for your time and wisdom.
