Waht does "You may need to clear the Windows Events log if it is full." means? RRS feed

  • Hi, I got an error and I opened the log file and here is what it shows on the top:

    2009-03-06 08:57:16.57 Server      Error: 17054, Severity: 16, State: 1.
    2009-03-06 08:57:16.57 Server      The current event was not reported to the Windows Events log. Operating system error = 1502(The event log file is full.). You may need to clear the Windows Events log if it is full.
    2009-03-06 08:57:16.75 Server      (c) 2005 Microsoft Corporation.
    2009-03-06 08:57:16.75 Server      All rights reserved.

    My question is: How to clear this event log? There are few logs in the Log folder which one to clear?

    this means the "Window Event Log"..
    go to Control Panel, Adminstrative Tools, Event Viewer..
    clear as appropriate :)
