Excel Pivot Table, add value twice to pivot table RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to add a value unique customer count to my pivot table twice, once to show it as a percentage of a column(to show a returning percentage week over week) and as the unique customer value itself so that I can see the magnitude along with the percentage.

It would also be acceptable if I could set the value field settings so that it displayed a % and the mouseover showed the value.

Is there some way to do this?  I have not found it possible.  I figure I can add it to the cube twice but that seems like a choice of last resort.

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

Why not creating a calculated member along with the unique customer value, one column show the percentage value and another show the customer value, like this:

Or create drill through action to list the detail value you want to display. After right click the cell, click the action, it will generate a table with detail information. You can also set the action as default action, so in excel, double-click the cell then you will get the details.

    Hope this helps.
